Notes:

1.Beneficiary – a beneficiary of a will is anyone who receives a benefit from the will which may be referred to as a “Gift”, “Bequest” or “Legacy”.

2. Legacy – a Legacy is a one–off payment to a person named in the will or organisation e.g. a named charity. A legacy usually refers to an amount of money.

3. Bequest – a Bequest usually relates to a specific item or article left in a will to a named person e.g. jewellery.

4. Guardian– a Guardian is the person(s) you nominate to look after your children
